My wife is a realtor, a coffee and beverage enthusiast, and our home’s personal barista. She doesn’t just make coffee, she crafts experiences. Lattes with layered foam, specialty teas brewed to perfection, signature drinks that feel like something you’d order at a boutique café. For her, coffee has always been about community. It’s about slowing down, inviting someone in, and creating space for conversation. Some of our best ideas and deepest conversations have happened over a cup she prepared.

Coffee to her is connection.

For me, coffee started differently.

In the military, coffee was the drink of champions. It was fuel. It powered early mornings, long missions, night shifts, and moments when quitting wasn’t an option. Coffee meant readiness. Discipline. Drive.

But over time, something shifted.

I started drinking tea and I fell in love with it. The aromas, the subtle flavor profiles, the ritual of brewing. Tea became more than a drink; it became clarity. It brought peace and tranquility in the middle of life’s chaos. Where coffee sharpened my edge, tea sharpened my mind.

Together, our shared love for these beverages became something bigger.

We always talked about opening our own shop, a place where energy meets ease, where ambition meets reflection. But we didn’t want to rush it. We were waiting for the right time, the right strategy, the right mission.
